You're true jazz sound is refreshing, the composition and arrangements are spectacular. You have that vibe from the 50's and I've just fallen in love with you as an artist and you're music. You have every positive aspect of both the Jazz and Lounge feel in you're music, accompanied with the correct lyrical structures and vocal delivery. You can sing your butt of girl! Its so refreshing to see someone who still holds strong on the idea's and sounds of yesterday...all this commercial garbage we have now can't hold a candle to you're basic sax or horn solo's. You rock! Instant Classic! (Hallelujah, I love him so is amazing) -Mike-C

We saw you at the French Quarter with Matt Mitchell and the Hot Club of Tucson a couple of months ago, and really enjoyed your performance. We like your new CD so much that we wanted to share it as a Christmas gift with some friends and relatives. Your vocals are superb. Jeff Haskell and the other musicians did a super job, too. Just an overall great CD! We've been playing it a lot during the past few days. Sure shows a lot of hard work and attention to detail by everyone involved that paid off with an outstanding recording.
Looking forward to attending some of your performances in 2008.
Happy Holidays and all the best for the coming year!

Dear Julie Anne,
I think your album is great! Although I recognize most of the songs as old standards, your renditions are diffierent and marvelous. You did a nice job of engaging a variety background sounds. The musicians who supported you are outstanding. Your voice is sultry, pleasing, and "right on." Good luck, and I hope to see you perform in person soon.

Thank you for your fantastic Cd's. We got home and played it while we had a lunch and we had a company, who loved it so very much and the first song brought so much memory to them. So I decided to give them one of your Cd's for Christmas, therefore, I need to buy more from you, but please let me make a list over time, so I have them all together for your lovely and beautiful signature. You sure are not only beautiful, but as talented also.

Your new CD is terrific! All of the songs reflect what makes you unique - all the facets of your personality are on display - starting with how much FUN you are to be with! One might question the bi-polar choice of HEY, DADDY coupled with GEE, BABY AIN'T I GOOD TO YOU - but you're a woman who can command your fella to PEEL ME A GRAPE at the same time as lamenting I GOT IT BAD AND THAT AIN'T GOOD - and be equally convincing! There's every mood covered here, and the soloists shine, particularly Greg Armstrong and Martin Patfield. The silky strings make the ballads all sound SO rich, and the intriguing arrangements (especially that fading final line in HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON) make this CD a keeper!
